Current Availability (Updated August 2026):

SJ is fully booked for regular weekly postpartum support through February 2027.

Birth support is currently available for returning families only.

Note about availability:

As an independent birthworker, my schedule tends to fill up a few months in advance, as most families secure support in their second trimester. Unfortunately, this means I am usually unable to work with families if you’re reaching out after 30 weeks gestation. If I’m not personally available for your due date, please still reach out - I’d be happy to refer you to someone in my Chicago-area network of doulas who may have availability.

Sliding Scale:

If you are a person of color, low-income, and/or are LGBTQ+ and you need financial assistance to receive support, I also provide limited support on a sliding scale. Questions about where you fall on a sliding scale? Please see this resource
